Sweet Nightingales

Echoes of melodic voices

fill the concert hall

with joyful music

singing with much enthusiasm

children’s choir

well travelled

under the baton

of accomplished conductor.

Beautiful songs

musicals, folk

classical, contemporary

wide repertoire

multilingual

angelic voices

blending well.

Entertaining

performing with gusto

to the delight

of appreciative audience

applauding for an encore

mesmerising!

captivating hearts!

    • Thank you for your valuable comment, Jalal. The Operafest Children’s Choir (Malaysian) is an amazing group of children who travel around the world with their artistic director and conductor. They have received favourable reviews and performed in Vienna and Salzburg, Austria recently. I have thoroughly enjoyed their concerts as well as other children’s choirs like the Vienna Boys’ Choir. Appreciate your encouraging support. Kind regards, Iris. 🙂

  1. Sounds lovely. In 2007, I went to a performance by the Copenhagen Royal Chapel Choir. It was magical to hear all those young voices filling the Cathedral space. http://www.scoop.co.nz/stories/CU0703/S00274/copenhagen-royal-chapel-choir-visits-nz.htm

    • Yes, they were! A very talented children’s choir indeed. It was a great opportunity to listen to them. There are many children’s choirs from around the world like the one you mentioned. The acoustics of cathedrals/churches is great for such performances. Thank you for your interest and for sharing your thoughts. 🙂 Kind regards, Iris.

This reminds me of the childrens choirs when they sing Christmas carols.

    • Yes, children’s voices singing carols at Christmas is most heart-warming. In Sydney and Melbourne, Australia, there are “carols by candlelight” concerts in the parks. Most inspiring and for charitable causes. Have a lovely week, Judy. 🙂

  3. This is so beautiful… I would call it a Symphony.
I love the way you have described the whole scenario, from a poetic perspective.
You are in the center of the stage.
I can almost hear the final ovation, dear Iris…
I loved this verses in particularly:
    Echoes of melodic voices /
    wide repertoire
    multilingual /angelic voices
