Can We Imagine …

in this world

where childhood hunger

is still prevalent

  1. yes, we can, alas! 😦 even in the so-called rich and powerful countries…

    • Thank you for your thoughtful and valuable comment, Melanie. I know that on the other hand, there are many charitable organisations who are trying to meet this global issue of concern. We can each play our part to help. 🙂

  2. Iris, this is so sad and so true. I was pleased when I saw how full our church food-bank is and how readily it shares with anyone who has need. The older couples in our church are very generous to young families. We haven’t needed the help (yet), but it’s so nice to know we can all contribute to the needy we come in contact with. True love involves action.

    • Yes, Wendy, it’s so true that words need to be followed up with action. This time of the year, before Christmas, many churches and humanitarian organisations hold church fetes and charity stalls in aid of the needy… So this helps to bring some joy and cheer to our fellow human beings especially the children! Thank you for your thoughtful sharing 🙂 In His love, Iris ❤

    • Thank you so much Christy. Indeed there are people who are hungry but there is also so much wastage which is really very sad! We can each play a part wherever we are to help the needy… Appreciate your kind words 🙂
