    • Yes, the Poinciana tree is also known as the Flame of the Forest (Delonix regia). The red flowers are quite outstanding and so vibrant. The lyrics of the song of the Poinciana tree can be found at

Glad you like the header. The Andre Rieu concerts are very enjoyable like the one I’ve written in this post. Appreciate your time here and thank you for your lovely comment, Gallivanta. Kind regards, Iris. 🙂

      • Iris I am so thrilled to learn that there is a song about the poinciana tree. I love that the lyrics refer to the perfume because it does have a beautiful perfume.

        • Yes, the lyrics are beautiful and the perfume is magical! Delighted that you liked it very much. There is also an Argentinian children’s song about the Jacaranda tree. I thought the music is very melodious and you might be interested to listen to it.

        • Does the jacaranda have a perfume too? I can’t remember. This is also a delightful song. It’s so wonderful to have songs celebrating our tropical trees.

        • I understand that the Jacaranda perfume is slight and not outstanding. Yes, it’s good to have such beautiful songs. 🙂

    • What you have described is what I found Vienna to be – magical. The lakes and the mountains are just so picturesque. The city is full of history and magnificent opera houses. Really loved Austria, Melanie. 🙂 ❤ Thank you!!

  3. This is so gorgeous, Iris 💞
