Wanderlust

The rainforest

wildflowers and wild birds

They are the miracles

if we choose to

not blindly pass through.

~

Will we choose to wander

never to behold

the beauty

the mundane is

so eager to offer?

~

A world so pristine

awaits on

the tips of our lashes.

  2. Oh boy, did I ever like this poem, Iris. I especially like the second stanza about mundaneness, and the whole message about waking up to what’s around us. Really great. πŸ™‚
