Magic Sails

February 24, 2017

I watched the red sails

out on the ocean

in the warm glow

of the fading sun

soft ripples

glistening waters dance lightly

like ballerinas nimble

tiptoeing the ballet

Magic Flute

pirouetting, twirling

something dreamy

magical tranquility.

    So beautiful, Iris. I love the sea, and often think I might like sailing, but I would most likely be too timid to try it (that water is deep :D) I also love the comparison of the water ripples to little ballerinas. Lovely poem.
