A Field Of Dreams

Sunlight filtering

through leafy trees

handcrafted sculptures

the garden cafΓ©

bustling with life

reminding us that

we are not solitary islands

we meet to catch up

so no matter how

lonely it may appear

you are not alone.

~

Write your words

or speak out loud

like on a stage

a field of dreams

where words are birds

set free from their cage

watch them fly

wings stretched wide

they glide through

the wind in a way

that is just different.

  2. Now this is a field I’ve enjoyed skipping through (it was more of a saunter, I’m not a skipper). I particularly liked the imagery of an actor’s performance in the second act. Lovely writing Iris πŸ™‚

    • Thanks so much, Rose. Yes, as words are written or spoken… we have a choice in influencing people… our freedom to inspire… and hopefully to help and encourage some to overcome… appreciate your reflection on this. ❀ ⚘ Have a lovely weekend. πŸ™‚
