Aria Of Dawn

The sun rising

with the first gleam

of morning rays

A thousand hues

Dazzling quilt

of colours

A majestic sunrise

The light of hope

      • What a nice follow-up comment from you! Nature, music and the arts inspire me and words flow when I am walking by the lake nearby. It’s almost magical how that happens. The creative brain works in mysterious ways! Have you tried an Etheree poem perhaps? I just did and had grand fun counting syllables.

  17. The dawn really is like a “dazzling quilt of colours” isn’t it, and your poem got me reflecting how I think of autumn as a patchwork quilt as well.
