Simply Poetry

About

Having lived and worked in Australia, UK and Malaysia, the rugged country, scenic landscape, flora and fauna of these countries have had much influence and inspiration on my poetry. Their rich heritage and culture are written about in some of these poems. An appreciation of poetry and literature, the creative and performing arts along with observations of daily life have also broadened my creativity.

As a health professional, my work with people from various walks of life is both challenging and engaging. There is much need to listen to, understand, encourage and empathise with people.

This platform gives me the opportunity to share some thoughts, reflections and experiences with you.

    I’m originally from a tropical island which inspires much of my poetry, so I understand how scenery and landscape can influence your work. However, I now live in a frigid country and the contrast could not be greater. So my poetry veers between the two 🙂

I have also seen the production of this musical at London’s West End. Thoroughly enjoyed it. The family must be proud of your nephew playing a lead role in this musical.
