Awakening The Charm

Finally

when rain begins to fall

pitter patter

pitter patter

 the wind

that stirs the trees

wind that sets

the blue gum leaves

swaying violins

playing winter’s song

the warmth of crackling wood

awakening the charm

of winter’s beauty

Southern Lights

The shore was kissed

by sea and mist

glowing allure across the sky

ethereally brilliant colours

The night is an open book

but the world beyond it

remains a mystery …

A Star Tonight

It was fascination

the moon grows bright

Stars will stop

where they are

The sky is light

Tonight, tonight

Here you are

what was just

the world is

A star tonight

The Alluring Rose

Soft winds and summer skies

the gentleness of the rain

was in the wind

The summer rose

sweeter than honey

O work of art

bliss of beauty and love.

The Magic Of Autumn

The rustling leaves

of season’s colour

The rustic shades

of crimson and gold

When sunrise shone

in wondrous splendour

the wind rustled

to a thousand violins

awakening harmony

charm of autumn’s beauty

in gold and blue

that glorious morn

that magic of autumn.

Echoes Of Love

Vast, vast as the ocean

high as the heavens above

Stars twinkling brilliantly

all is still

Silent is the night

Imagine …

the beauty all around

and the music of the sea

the music of the sea

echoes love.

A Christmas Fantaisie

Glistening In The Rain

Soft morning light

glistening refreshing dewdrops

spring’s seasonal showers

pink boronia gems

chandelier of flora.

September Sings

You have found in dreams

love and beauty, fervent as

a fiery moon

amidst the lingering night

in love’s sweet song

the symphony

of every beautiful sonata

This moment in time

a twinkle in your eyes

as brilliant as the sparkling stars

heaven of diamonds

sweet dreams and charm

of tender night.

On Moonlight Hill

That Red Rose Café

on a high and windy hill

The magical fingers

of the Spanish guitarist

mesmerising diners

captivating hearts

He strummed and he sang

into the night …

and Into the night

the misty moonlight

peering through the window

The world stood still …

Waltzing In The Moonlight

The crescent moon shines

over the rippling waters

softly the waves dance

a moonlight waltz.

A Winter’s Rose

A cherished garden

of roses’ beauty

songbirds whispering

a joyous song

this winter morn.

~

Above those trees

birds get together

to chirp about the weather

the warm sunshine of love

my heart with pleasure fills.

All Is Bright

A star spangled sky

the wind is whistling a lullaby

in the silence of the night

moonbeams soft and bright

all through the night.

A Dream A Reality

Cover - A DREAM A REALITY by Iris Oh - Smashwords

Dream what’s beautiful

Pleasure of love

Splendour and beauty

Pulse and rhythm

The lyrical heart sings.

Catch The Stars …

All so bright

The golden moonlight

Mirror calm waters.

That Autumn Evening

April sings

Gentle sound of rain

on the windowpane

Soft piano jazz

in the still of the night.

Love’s Serenade

Beautiful dreamer

lover of life

come and enchant me

with sweet melody.

~

Songs of the summer

dreamy with love

beauty and splendour

pleasures of joy.

~

Seasons refreshing

awakening blooms

colours of flowers

perfume and hues.

~

Songs of the summer

dreamy with love

beauty and splendour

pleasures of joy.

Can It Be?

Humanity

fragile and delicate

like a dry leaf

fallen to the ground?

Yet

a new life

can be nurtured

in every changing season

a life miraculously transformed

into a beautiful creation?

Acacia Gold

Under blue skies

twittering birds

around the golden wattle

a charming home

on a hilltop

Garden Of Roses

The beautiful Jacaranda tree

in full bloom

of blue and purple hues

Butterflies flit freely

beside the lake of sparkling waters

Rose shrubs of spicy perfume

attract the birds of the air

whistling a happy tune

with praise and gratitude

to the Creator of all things

bright and beautiful

My heart with pleasure sings

on this glorious spring day.
