Imagine …

As I fly over

vast stretches

of miniatures

I see tiny trees

minuscule rivers

sheep strewn acres

on meadows

of wildflowers

A sky like a marble top

cotton wool clouds swirl

and drift against

the shadowed lilac hills

into a soft beige

landscape of the wild country

Great Southern Land

enchanting landscape

of beauty

Summer Sweet Summer

Moonbeams kiss the sea

How dreamy the magic

of the summer night

The stars above

Star of love

Music and splendour

I remember

that lovely melody

with a thousand echoes

a summer breeze

Summer sweet summer

Awake Dawn

The ocean chorus sings

Sound of lapping waves

Scent of the sea

How sweet the air

Breathe all that is

Surely as the sun will rise

A Certain Tenderness

Spring

when flowers

speak and sing

I listen to

the gentle rain

In nature

one of those

leisurely moments

A bird sings

Listen

Now there’s nothing

but complete silence

Listen

Dreamy …

Dawn in your solitude

Beauty so incredible

Let your beauty

linger on

Let your beauty

linger on

Wait …

for the sunrise

~

The falling snow

drifts by the window

A little bird

chirps winter’s song

A little bird

chirps winter’s song

Love’s sweet symphony

Morning has risen

A Star Tonight

It was fascination

the moon grows bright

Stars will stop

where they are

The sky is light

Tonight, tonight

Here you are

what was just

the world is

A star tonight

The Alluring Rose

Soft winds and summer skies

the gentleness of the rain

was in the wind

The summer rose

sweeter than honey

O work of art

bliss of beauty and love.

A Christmas Fantaisie

In Sweetest Season

The sunrise wakes

the birds to sing

Let silence set

the world in tune

The buds of spring

sing songs of summer

and how the summer

glowed and shone

a sonnet full of love.

Silence Is Golden

One lone star at night

soon the sky is crowded with

countless scintillating lights

~

Thousands of stars across

the silent night

illuminates brilliantly, sparkling

~

This beautiful heavenly night

and the stillness

how could I forget

this tranquility?

this moment of inspiration.

Let There Be Love

And now you ask

what is your message

your verse and poetry

it is a rainbow

of song and dance

a symphony of love

poetry, rhythm, music …

of pine trees

and the deep, deep sea

syllables

that will dance

pirouette

into dreams

to remind us

of glorious morning

and of promise and hope.

~

Kaleidoscopic visions

and music of

ten thousand violins

to capture

the magic and beauty

of a dazzling night sky

of the works of Creation

unfathomable

incomparable

the poet sings

a song of love and passion

Let there be love …

Splendour In The Park

One September morn

gliding on the lake

a swan so fine

as graceful as

the birds that soar

twittering songs of spring

when at a glance

thousands of jonquils

swaying and dancing

fluttering in the breeze

I saw

spring’s glorious splendour

such joy and pleasure

my heart sings

O what a beautiful morning…

Mélodie To Remember

The pink sunrise

Early songbirds echo dawn’s praise

Creation’s sweetest mélodie of love.

All Is Bright

A star spangled sky

the wind is whistling a lullaby

in the silence of the night

moonbeams soft and bright

all through the night.

Love Divine

If I could write

and consider the joy

of summer’s flower

rose’s honey breath

sweet lavender

awakening the bliss of Love

~

Of boundless seas

and stars stringing the milky way

sparkling the night

like the morning star’s

eternal Light.

~

As Love and Light

shall together thrive

such heavenly gifts

so divinely excel

inward love of heart.

Sunset By The Lagoon

An evening of stars

scintillating

The wonder

of magical strings

violins and guitars

Summer breeze

light of the silvery moon

hues of silhouettes

twilight sky

mosaic of colours

Loveliest night

dreams come true

a beautiful lagoon.

Magical Harmony

A thousand mellow strings

of captivating violins play

melodious birds sing and dance

in beautiful harmony.

Can It Be?

Humanity

fragile and delicate

like a dry leaf

fallen to the ground?

Yet

a new life

can be nurtured

in every changing season

a life miraculously transformed

into a beautiful creation?

When I Consider

When I consider

the wondrous miracles of nature

on the ever-changing scene

of this vast earth

the sky with moon and stars

that shine so brilliantly

refreshing showers of April

new growth of spring

holding all in perfection

but only momentarily

like a poet’s imaginary sight.

The skylark sings for joy

at the break of dawn

sweet hymns in praise

of season’s glorious splendour.

Precious Moments

Scintillating little diamonds

across the canopy of the sky

high above … unreachable

yet sparkling brighter

through the night

into the precious moments

of serenity …
