Magic chimes

Sound of birds

Soothing melody

Calm river

flowing

Music dancing

Poetry in motion

Hark, hark, the lark

~

Whistling flute

playing melodiously

Light of the rising sun

as dawn breaks

The mirror of vision

when the world

is awake

reflecting

    This is a well crafted poem, beautifully written, reflecting on life! The way I see it, life should be smooth and calm as so nicely put in the earlier part of the poem. Wish life is always like that. Alas, that’s not how things turn out! The moment of truth sets in. This happens in our personal life as well as on the global stage. Look at the world today (pandemic, war). Thank you for sharing this, Iris. You are a good observer of life!
