From the strings of stars
the colours of the skies
the rhythm of the waves
pirouetting
twirling
whirling
Imagine the ballerina’s
graceful movements.

The moonglow warms
the soft sand
silhouettes and the breeze
play to the music
of a lullaby
Sandy songs
of seashells
bells of mesmerising waves
Imagine … dream
hush …
Hush of night
as rain clouds part
and the moon peeps
a moment of beauty …
Lightning strikes
rain pounding down
puddles and puddles
bubbles dancing
to the rhythm of the rain.
Rhythm of blue waves
Lullabies of seashells
Sandy songs of love
And the music lingers on …
Sea gives rhythm
to the island
far, far away
Alluring and serene
waters blue and calm
the exotic paradise
The sapphire in the sun.
Rhythm of waves
mesmerising sounds
breaking against rocks
snow-white sand
fine and soft
coconut palms
gently swaying
distant sunset
mauve colours
twilight sky
as stars light the sparkle
in dreams of love.
