the fields with flowers

Skylark sings flying

a sweet song
the fields breathe

Hush of night
as rain clouds part
and the moon peeps
a moment of beauty …
Lightning strikes
rain pounding down
puddles and puddles
bubbles dancing
to the rhythm of the rain.

stopped to listen
to the music
of the waves
when you walked
along the beach?
Waves of tranquillity
Wonders of nature
to the earth’s eye
Most beautiful …
to dream
to be inspired …
On Blue Waters
White sails on the harbour
Sparkling blue waters
Waves calm on a
warm summer’s day
at Salamanca Place.

The light breeze
Sails catching the wind
fluttering as the yachts
gathered momentum
towards the waterfront.

The summer of blue skies
Flock of birds
waltzing in the breeze
The air is filled with birdsong …
Symphony of the morning.
The River Flows
On a starry silvery night sky
A brilliant golden moon shines
Below the hills
the gentle river flows.
Spring In the Air
Melodies of spring
swallows twittering
robin redbreast whistling
season of beauty and growth
rosy hues sweet as love.

Joy that overflows
bliss of pleasure
fills the heart
perfume evocative of spring.
Isle Of Lullabies
Rhythm of blue waves
Lullabies of seashells
Sandy songs of love
And the music lingers on …
The Town Of Titipu
I’ve got a little list
A wandering minstrel I
The cherry blossoms bloom in spring
A comic opera
Savoy musical
A satire set
in a far faraway land.
And Yet …
Haze
for there is
no rain for days …
There is no
sight of sun …

The air is still
the haze stands
to attention
while birds
sing no song
~
Hills silent
no longer green
and yet, and yet …
even from
the blanket of pollution
a new sun can rise …

the glory of God

His handiwork
